Please read these Terms carefully. By booking, purchasing, or participating in any service offered by Divine Inner Work, you agree to the following terms.

1. Scope of Services

Divine Inner Work offers acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), intuitive and energy-based sessions, mentorship programs, workshops, and related holistic services.

Acupuncture services may be eligible for insurance coverage depending on your plan.
Intuitive, energetic, add-ons, and mentorship services as well as workshops and retreats are self-pay only and not eligible for insurance billing.

All services are provided by Dr. Alisha Sabouneh, DCM, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., Reiki Master.

Nothing in these Terms guarantees medical outcomes or results.
No service replaces medical diagnosis, emergency care, or treatment from a licensed physician or mental health professional.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Self-Pay Services

Payment for all self-pay services is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Insurance Billing (Acupuncture Only)

Insurance billing for acupuncture is coordinated through Iris Mental Health & Wellness, who holds the insurance contracts for this location.

You are responsible for:
• Any copay, coinsurance, or deductible
• Any services not covered by your plan
• Any claims denied for any reason
• Accurate and up-to-date insurance information

Verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment.

2.3 Payment Methods Accepted

• Credit/debit cards
• HSA/FSA (acupuncture + acupuncture add-ons only)

3. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.
Because significant time, preparation, and clinical/energetic setup are required in advance of each session, the following policies apply with no exceptions:

3.1 Cancellations

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice: $75 late-cancellation fee
• Cancellations within 4 hours of treatment start time: charged at the full session fee
• No-shows: charged at the full session fee

These fees are not billable to insurance and are your responsibility.

3.2 Rescheduling

Any rescheduled appointment made with less than 24 hours’ notice is treated as a cancellation and subject to the same fees.

4. Refund Policy

All sales are final.

Due to the individualized nature of clinical care, energy work, and mentorship services, Divine Inner Work does not offer refunds for:

• Completed services
• Missed appointments, cancellations, or late arrivals
• Mentorship programs (including partial refunds)
• Digital materials, resources, or emailed support
• Workshops or events, unless canceled by the provider

Payment plans for the Mentorship are binding and must be completed as agreed.

5. Mentorship Program Terms

By enrolling in The Inner Alignment Mentorship, you agree to the following:

5.1 Payment & Structure

• Payment is due in full or in monthly installments as agreed
• All payments are non-refundable
• Sessions must be used within the 3-month container

5.2 Missed or Canceled Mentorship Sessions

• Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice = counted as used
• No refunds or credits for missed sessions
• Rescheduling is based on availability and not guaranteed

5.3 Scope of Mentorship

Mentorship is supportive, intuitive, and educational in nature.
It is not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, or crisis intervention.

6. No Guarantees or Warranties

While many clients experience significant improvements, Divine Inner Work makes no guarantees regarding:

• Specific outcomes
• Symptom resolution
• Emotional or spiritual experiences
• Insight or intuitive information received

Healing is individual, nonlinear, and influenced by many factors.

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate health information
• Inform the provider of any medical changes
• Arrive on time for appointments
• Ask questions when you need clarity
• Seek emergency medical care when necessary
• Understand that intuitive guidance is interpretive and subjective

Your participation in care is voluntary and collaborative.

8. Telehealth Terms

Telehealth sessions (intuitive guidance, mentorship, or herbal consults) are:

• Non-diagnostic outside TCM
• Not intended for emergencies
• Provided via secure platforms
• Limited by the information you provide

For medical emergencies, call 911 or seek urgent care.

9. Confidentiality

All patient and client information is strictly confidential and protected under HIPAA when applicable.
Intuitive and mentorship services are also held to a high standard of privacy and discretion.

Records will not be released without written authorization unless required by law.

10. Intellectual Property

All written materials, emails, guided practices, meditations, and resources provided as part of sessions or mentorship are the exclusive property of Divine Inner Work.

You may not copy, distribute, publish, teach, or reproduce them without explicit written permission.

11. Right to Refuse Service

Divine Inner Work reserves the right to decline or discontinue services for:

• Unsafe or inappropriate behavior
• Conflicts of interest
• Ethical considerations
• Clinical contraindications
• Nonpayment or repeated no-shows or cancellations

This ensures a safe and healthy space for all patients and clients.

12. Digital Goods & Online Materials

Divine Inner Work may offer digital products such as PDFs, audio meditations, recorded classes, guides, or other downloadable or view-once materials (“Digital Goods”).

By purchasing or accessing Digital Goods, you agree to the following:

12.1 All Sales Are Final

Digital products are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
• downloadable PDFs
• meditations
• recorded classes or workshops
• online guides or resources
• digital add-ons to mentorship or intuitive sessions

Because access is provided immediately, refunds cannot be offered.

12.2 License for Personal Use Only

You receive a non-transferable, single-user license for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:
• share, reproduce, or distribute any Digital Goods
• upload Digital Goods to the internet
• allow other people to use your copy
• modify, resell, or teach from them
• use them in your own professional or client work

All content is protected by copyright and belongs exclusively to Divine Inner Work.

12.3 No Guarantee of Results

Digital Goods are educational and supportive in nature.
They are not medical treatment, do not diagnose or treat conditions, and do not guarantee specific outcomes.

12.4 Technical Issues

You are responsible for having a device capable of opening the file(s).
If you experience download issues, support will be provided to resend the files, but not to modify device settings.

13. Agreement to Terms

By scheduling, purchasing, or participating in any service (in-person or virtual), you acknowledge that you have:

• Read these Terms
• Understand them
• Agree to be bound by them

These Terms may be updated periodically.
Continued use of services indicates acceptance of current Terms.
